Alwaysfirst should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Peter Collins Raceway

Named after Peter Collins this is a medium length (about 4.7 km) circuit. It's main features are it's very long flat out main straight, it's stadium sections and it's huge elevation changes.

The main straight has a slight upwards gradient to it (similar to the Kemmel straight at Spa) before the rise up to T1&2, a chicane complex. The gradient on entry is more steeply uphill (similar to T1 at the A 1-Ring) before flattening out just before T2 making the corner blind and although speed will be low, positioning the car correctly will be difficult. This section is the first stadium section. Through T3&4 the track has an increasingly downhill gradient, gradually building to the steepness of the run down to Eau Rouge from La Source at Spa, before the Esses. These are the most difficult part of the circuit. Speed is increasing through them all the time and the gradient keeps on getting steeper (to the scale of Paddock Hill at Brands). For the driver this is a really testing section as the g's gradually build until the driver is experiencing nearly 5g on the entry of T7. The downhill run then continues (though not as steeply) to T8, a caroussel corner where there are many grandstands. Exit here is vital as the flat-out uphill run to the T10 hairpin, through the T9 kink will punish those poor on exit speed. This straight in total is nearly 1.5kms long. Just before T10 the track descends slightly meaning the braking zone is extended-a perfect overtaking oppertunity. T11 is a small kink to the right before the downhill, flowing T12. This leads into T13, a fast sweeping corner with a slight camber into the corner, allowing for slightly higher entry speeds than normal. Next comes the main stadium section. This is similar to the stadium section at Hockenheim. T14 is a hairpin that opens out on exit and this leads into the late apex, slightly downhill T15, the last corner, for which exit speed is vital for the long drag down to T1.

All coments welcome

ps. It's very quiet here at the moment

That's REALLY nice - i'd perhaps reprofile T1 a bit, but otherwise it's very nice.

Thanks everybody
I do like this circuit and I think that it has a good flow to it. I tried to keep the layout simple and let my emphasis on elevation 'make' the circuit. I think this is a good policy as circuits like Spa would be nothing without their elevation changes. The same goes for the old Osterreichring-a simple layout but the elevation changes made it great, especially at Bosch Kurve-sheer perfection for a corner Thanks again!

Put simply.... AWESOME!!!

It's actually sort of like Interlagos. Fast long straight with some tricky infield stuff...

I don't however like Turn 1 and most of those corners after it. Doesn't look too appealing... sorry...

Yes, except for the Turn 1 and some of the corners that follow it...
