I may go to watch the Festival this year, and even though there's been an improvement in the timetable, and no matter how good the racing is, I know I will feel it is just good club-racing I'm watching.
Dont think that it's club racing, the FFZFestival will still be quality. Remember that even though there werent many cars in FFZ for the past couple of years the drivers coming from it are still better than those who choose to do Renault or BMW. Just take a look at the BF3 results of this season. The FFZFestival will have 8 drivers who think they can win, just because there are 40 cars and not 200 it doesnt mean the top guys aren't going to be racing for a professional career.

The driving standard isn't the issue here. Your damn right, the calibre of driver coming through FF is, in my opnion, far superior than the ones out of FBMW or Renault. For one, they have to learn about a car with more power than grip. The FR's and FBMW's Championships have the cars nailed down so all you have to do is jump in and press the go faster peddle. But they present a better corporate package at the moment, hence the lack of Zetecs at the Festival.

If you were going to point the finger at any source for the demise of the Festival, you could possibly point it at Ford. For years they had a winning formula and dropped it like a stone.

But the driving has never ever been called into question here...........

Perhaps Mackmot has picked up some bad mannered, rude, obnoxious habits from one of his latest charges in the club scene - sorry Wayne, I just couldn't resist that one

If Peter or Joey were driving Jamun Mygales this year they would have won everything
