Well deserved. He's taken full advantage of the oppurtunity. Kinda sad that he's over 30 now and may only have a few years left.
That Ruben Xaus has certainly come on strong in the past few races. Is contract negotiation time coming up? Or has he now got full confidence? |

well done to Troy Bayliss..a totally deserved win for sure allthough Ruben Xaus gave him a few scares he won quite comfortably because ruben was under team orders i believe..but a good year for Troy and proves all along that he has had the talent..now can he come back and defend it ???
I think he will go pretty close to doing it again next year. |

Congrats to Troy on a very deserved championship especially after having to endure the Dunlop effect in the middle of the season.
Have to say though that what has lit the Xaus wick these last few races. He has been middle order all year. Is Foggy doing something or have Ducati given him the same motors as Bayliss after noit crashing for a bit. Kinda reminds you of how **** Bostrom was on the works \Duke a few years back. I remember watching Bayliss leaving massive darkies out of Mansfeld at Cadwell on a GSE 916 a few years back and thinking "You can't spin up a Duke". What a talent and a top bloke to go with it.# Sat there and watched 600 practice with a group of us on his scooter with Bayliss Jr on his lap. |

Congratulation Troy! Great racing all year and consistency as well all paid off to win the championship in first full year.
Xaus is definitely one to watch as potential champion next year. A new tyre it seems has helped him immensely along with settling down and focusing on what was needed in his riding to improve and not fall off all the time. |
