mp356a should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Has Dornboos got a ride yet?

I did a search and I do not see mention of Dornboos. Maybe I am spelling it wrong? Did he get a ride for '06?
Thanks,
Mike

I suspect he'll be 3rd driver at Williams.

It's Doornbos

I hope that Doornbos gets a seat somewhere, whether it's as third driver, test driver or whatever. He looks a decent driver and deserves a chance in a more competitive car. Shame he won't drive for Minardi though, it's sad they no longer exist after all this time!

maltafan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
As things are, I think he is top favourite for Williams' third seat, but this is just speculation, as it has been a long time since Williams have spoken about this.

Karthikeyan might make more sense for Williams, but it would be a shame if Doornbos missed out entirely, as he at least matched Albers in the latter part of the season.

Williams have already siad that their 3rd driver will have to pay for his ride, then it is up to them who is ready to pump out more money to buy Williams' seat.

Maybe a really pig big :-p.

I find it interesting that Williams are selling their 3rd seat.

Doornbos was outstanding in the Chinese GP, overtook Villeneuve and Pizzonia after each of the safety car periods and finished only a few seconds behind Barrichello. He also matched or beat Albers at most races despite having less experience of the car, and richly deserves at least a test/third driver role in '06, IMO.

His name was on the car being unpacked in Barcelona yesterday, and he was there himself wearing Red Bull clothes

Well, the fact that his personal website is sporting the Red Bull Racing logo gives a pretty clear picture as to where he's signed for next season..

And announced on his website here: http://www.robertdoornbos.com/html/newsmsg.php?id=272

It also mentions that Scott Speed has signed with Scuderia Toro Rosso but his actual role will be confirmed in the near future...

So it's Coulthard and Klien racing and Doornbos testing for RBR, and Liuzzi racing at STR alongside Jani or Speed, with the latter testing?
