Thruxton 14 October
Looks a good clubbie meeting.
8 races run by BARC at Thruxton (in the wet) - never going to get it all in. Anyway, should be good. MG's x 2 BMW's K Sports Westfields Formula Renault Ginettas Formula Saloons More touring cars and overtaking than you're average TOCA meeting I bet!! |

Sunday 14th October Time Session Laps/Time QUALIFYING 09.10 Custom Lifts MGOC (Class A) 15 mins 10.25 BARC/BRDC K Sports 1600 Championship 15 mins 10.50 Custom Lifts MGOC (Classes B&F) 15 mins 11.15 Kumho BMW Championship 15 mins 11.40 BARC Formula Renault Championship 20 mins 12.10 Formula Saloon Cars 20 mins 12.40 Pentel Ginetta Championship 15 mins 13.05 BARC Westfield Sportscars 15 mins LUNCH BREAK RACING STARTS 14:00 Race 1 - Custom Lifts MGOC (Class A) 10 laps Race 2 - BARC/BRDC K Sports 1600 Championship 10 laps Race 3 - Custom Lifts MGOC (Classes B&F) 10 laps Race 4 - Kumho BMW Championship 10 laps Race 5 - BARC Formula Renault Championship 10 laps Race 6 - Formula Saloon Cars 10 laps Race 7 - Pentel Ginetta Championship 10 laps Race 8 - BARC Westfield Sportscars 10 laps Races start as soon as possible after the proceeding event -- Am suprised that F Renault and Formula Saloons have only 10 laps! Good to see some interest. I'll be marshalling, I have a 'Track' pass so think I may be at the Complex. Hopefully the Midget will be back from some major surgery - have to see how my lap times compare.

Hopefully the weather will hold up - I don't fancy standing at Thruxton try to take notes in the rain for a second successive meeting (Trucks being the last).

I'm praying for decent weather..
Should the Midget (nasty yellow) be in operation and if I'm at the Complex - I should be easy to spot. Other than that where will you be Kelvin / anybody else?? |
