Can anyone please tell me what is going on with croft's race calendar plan for 06.

It seems, I have been on the site and its still displaying 04 and 05.
Alot of dates have been chopped and changed by barc at the start of the year, so I don't know which ones are going ahead and which aint at the mo.
would be ideal if another crofty could pm or email me for a chat about it.

very confoosed

I assume you've had a DDMC volunteering form - has anything changed since that was issued?

Only the F3 meeting not coming, however, keep that date in your diary as Croft hopes to hold a different meeting that weekend.

Provisional Broup B sprint planned for 18th March not going ahead due to lack of enteries. But it is hope to try and hold it later in the year.

Dates I've got are

12th March Rallycross Master
17th April Easter Sprint
6th & 7th May Chamionship Race Meeting
20th & 21st May Championship Race Meeting
3rd & 4th June BARC
17th & 18th June HSCC
15th & 16th July BRSCC
26th & 27th Aug. BARC
23rd & 24th Sept. Championship Race Meeting
22nd Oct. Rallycross
28th & 29th Oct. Rallycross Superprix

15/16 July is BARC, Touring Car meeting

26/27 August was BRSCC F3/GT, now cancelled (F3s moved to Silverstone with GP Masters, GTs moved to Rockingham 12/13 August with SCSA)

Also I'm showing a BARC meeting 9/10 September (Dunlop Festival) (also shown on BARC website)

BSB marshalling is handled by Racesafe; at some circuits I believe local non-Racesafe marshals may be allowed to marshal.

Racesafe is doing a training day at Croft on 26th Feb so if you want to do BSB you need to join and must attend the training day before you will be allowed to do the BSB meeting at Croft

I know Combe wasn't a championship meeting, but it was run by New Era and we didn't need to join up to Marshal that

Don't believe that's correct, last I heard they were looking for a date earlier in the year (ie before August time, can't remember which).

If you need to know the correct dates for 2006 car race meetings have a look at your DDMC Croft availability form, or the Croft Circuit web site, the dates on there ARE CORRECT however as Graham and Alan have pointed out the F3's are now going to support the A1 GP at Brands August Bank Holiday weekend, DDMC are trying to put together a replacement event if we can get enough content.
If in doubt ask those who know and not those who think they know!

Not true, I'm Racesafe and Croft marshal, you need to be a Racesafe member to do BSB, however, Croft marshals get free entry with their Croft Marshals Pass.
