Thanks Maxmil. There's a pretty good correlation that the less time I spend in choosing, the higher my score.

This is indeed the tightest I remember the competition, with five members within only two points.

I'm going to shoot myself in the foot here by admitting that I've been given an extra point. It should only be 4 and not 5 points, with my total being 84 and not 85.

Yeah I think I've been given 1 point too many as well.

The bad news is: ScotsBrutesFan and TOMATO1 have correctly pointed out that they were overscored by 1 point. The good news is: so were all but four of our players - including my own - so the relative standings will not change much.

This blunder resulted from the fact that Maxmil went off club racing with young Maxmil over in New Hampshire and missed the qualifying session because his DVR failed for unknown reasons to record it. I then misread the results after the race and thought Schumi had started from the Pole.

The lucky four who were astute enough to predict that others would outqualify him were:

Thorstone (Massa)

Alwaysfirst (Massa)

chunterer (Massa)

Pitstop (Alonso)

Their scores will remain the same; all others will lose 1 point. The sad truth is that none of us got a point for picking the correct Pole sitter.


I will go very quietly if you want to retire me.

I will correct the scores and post them before the next race.

No worries Max, there was only 2 thousandths of a second between Raikkonen and Schumi in Q3 anyway so you weren't far off!

Good grief ! I'd totally forgotten about the race. The wifey-to-be has kept me so busy ! I haven't been able to watch any racing for a while.

I've now missed the last 3 GP's..

Maybe I'll be able to watch the China GP.
