Former BTCC Champ Will Hoy has returned to the series this weekend driving a Peugeot 306 GTi for the VIP Club Team.
During todays qualifying he has posted the fastest Class B time for both the Sprint and Feature races tomorrow.. His team mate Alan Morrison failed to put up a time in either session. Class B qualifying times are as follows. But how much quicker is he over Morrisson? It will be interesting seeing them together especially as Hoy says he will be supporting Morrisson!! Team orders of course..

Unfortunately Morrison dodn't manage to post a time in qualifying, but during the testing in the week, Hoy was almost 0.7s faster than his team mate.

Wow this could be embarassing for Morrisson especially as Hoy will start in front.

Sadly 'Big Willy' retired the Pug twice - did look mighty impressive though. Better than Lionel Blair, I have to say.

Ok time for a conspiracy theory
Morrison has all kinds of problems in qualifying whereas Hoy takes 2 poles. Sunday Hoy has all the problems. I wonder if his "Supporting Morrison" extends to swapping cars when needed? |
