McRae and Tommi Out
Both Colin McRae and Tommi Makinen are out of the RAC, Makinen lost a wheel in SS2 and McRae rolled out of the rally on SS4. Also Saniz is in trouble after a puncture on SS2.

Burns now only needs fourth or higher - surely he can do it now!
High early casualty rate - Liatti and Solberg are also out within first 4 stages. |

They have just said on 5 live, that McRae has been taken to hospital with a lack of vision, I wish I could get rally radio on the net.

My lad will be disappointed - he's gone to the rally for the first time today. Hope Colin will be OK.

Where have we seen this before??
Championship leader out early; challenger just needs to complete the course in the points to take the title?? If I say Margham, Carlos Sainz and Tommi Makinen, it might all become clear; so don't book that flight back home just yet Colin..... |
