I don't agree with the dinosaur comment, most of the cars currently running in the Supermod class are less than five years old, there are several Supercars way older than most of the mods.

As for scrimping and saving, some of us have to do that to race a Stockhatch.

Perception of cost is always going to depend on your perspective and your commitments. (In other words how much do you spend on your house, road car, foreign holidays, school fees etc? ) There are a lot of people in motorsport who are crazy enough to remortgage their house and live on bread and cheese to follow a dream.

Jan Marklund, the owner of the Bergteamet said in an interwiue last november that the New Volvo S 40 probobly will be ready for some tests in February. We are aming to do a test race in England for bouth the car and the driver. Exactly whitch race Ludvig will race i do not know. But I think you will have a former ERC Champion at the startinggrid at Lydden!

Doubt will buy Kuhmo tyres just for the day !
Perhaps he will get some free ?
Then everybody should get at least 4 tyres free during the year!

Now thats a good idea !!!!! ££££££

Don't suppose anyone out there know's who this is then?
Maybe a Mr Hansen coming to the UK for the 40th Anniversary!?
Any news on any other drivers coming to race from Europe?

erm well Ludvig Hunsbedt is a twice European champion. He won the old div 1 championship in 1993 and when the rules changed won div1 in 4wd Escort in 1997. Still wont beleive he will be there until I see it!

I do see where this is comming from, but there has been nothing of recent to reassure us he will be over, if we look at the example of Mr. Evans; Who told MN and erc24.com that he would be contending the 2007 ERXC; However as we all know in motorsport things can change very fast due to Budget or personal issues.

If he was to be over i would say either Henk or Tim Whittington would already have it covered ? Them boys are fast with this sort of news.

Jan Kåre Rafoss of ERC24 (here known as "El PaparaZzi") must know even better than Henk or Tim as he is from the same town Kvinesdal, Ludvig Hunsbedt’s place of residence. On the other hand – ERC24 is not 'the RX oracle' and would not publish uncertain information or rumours…

This is also true, which is why the lads normally go to a quickfire round with the questions to the drivers if there is any uncertainty

my idea

I asked Rallycrossfreak before where he gets this information, but no answer from him.

A UK only starting grid will do for me.

@ Chris Cake: I don't know you personaly but reading your posts i DO get the feeling you are very PRO Rallycrossopen championship.

I visited two events in 2006, and wich one you think we found best? (entry's, spectators...)

The weater was equal on both races.

No Hunsbeth in Lydden

Ludvig Hunsbeth wil not race in Lydden Hill on april 9.
His first race is set for Valkenswaard (NL) at april 15.
The engine of his new Volvo S40 T16 4X4 2007 is not ready for Lydden.

He was suppose to race at Lydden, but as mivec says, the engine is not ready.

Other Norwegian(s) are planning to go there, but nothing is settled yet. Keep an eye on ERC24!
