Vauxhall F20 Gearbox
Can anyone out there advise please ? I'm currently running an Astra GSI with an F20 box, Hockley grp N gearkit ( standard ratios ) and an LSD.
I saw an advert for a rally GSI for sale yesterday, which claimed it had a 'Diesel' box which is supposed to be closer ratios. As on the current gearing, 3rd gear in particular is a bit 'tall' for parts of Brands and Lydden. Can anyone advise if there is anything in this, and what 'Diesel' box are they talking about ? Could I transfer the ratios to an F 20 box ? Any information gratefully received. Thanks Alan |
