Nighthawk has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
In the years that i have done the Gp and last year i made a complete horlocks of my Camping requirements most marshals are very good in swapping places and everyone gets where thay wanna be.
same with space some of us will give a little to help the next person.
We all like to be within our little groups.

It does tend to be flexible once you're there, and has nothing to do with the amount of beer consumed, allegedly!

The campsite plots are usually the same size no matter what you put on the card. Last year there was still quite a bit of space at the bottom of the hill so there should be no problems getting a pitch the size you require.

Cheers all - I had a recollection that there was someone who inhabited the forum who dealt with or helped out with the allocation but I guess i'm wrong.

I've got a nasty feeling that as a result of poor organisation on my part we're going to end up with four pitches on various different parts of the campsite and as we're all arriving early on Thursday I don't want to hang around to see who doesn't show up where.

I am sure all your four pitches will somehow be together
I know if i found you in my allocated pitch i think we could sort something out
Like its been said we are mostly all flexable.

couple of years ago when we turned up someone had mis read the posts, and thought that our post 1 and 2 being next to each other was 12, and rightly so had pitched tent, sadly he was right amongst our little party, Asked politely, he was understanding, all of us help him move as well. Only took a few minutes with all of helping. Problem solved no grumpyness, bit of sarcasm but where would the marshals campsite be without some sarcasm

And if anyone ends up out in the cold, come on over to the Castle Combe brigade - my tent sleeps nine and there's only three of us!!
