farstep should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Research on a GRAC MT20

I own a french prototype from 1974: a GRAC MT20. 9 were build and I have tracked down 6.
I have been told that tere is 1 in the UK.
Is there anyone that could confirm this?
Here is a similar car at Le Mans Classic in 2006. The white one is my car at the moment.

Well, in the '60 and '70 there were a lot small constructors in France; 'Sans patente' (without copyright) they called them. One of them was GRAC, based in Valence (near Lyon). They were quite succesfull in F3 and Formule France. In the early seventies they began to produce prototypes, two-seaters (MT14). In 1973 construction began on the MT20 in association with Gotti. The MT14's and MT20 competed in the Coupe Shell Simca, a national series for French prototypes.
In 1974 they entered the 24 hrs of Le Mans, but had to retire in the 5th hour of the race. This also meant the end of the GRAC-company.
There is a nice discussion going on on GRAC on another site:
http://forums.autosport.com/showthre...=&pagenumber=1

My car was enterd at the 24hrs of Le Mans in 1975, but was refused on technical grounds. They had done the preliminary testing, had the car damaged, and the car wasn't really ready again for the 24hrs.

But like a said, I've tracked down 6 of the 9 (8?) that where build and I think that there could be one in the UK.

Here is a picture of the MT20 at Le Mans in 1974. Isn't this a lovely car?

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I have not heard of a Grac in the UK
I know a (UK? ) guy was killed in a Grac not sure if it was prototype or single seater
