Hmmm. Design fault? Seems like it to me, as it afflicted just about EVERY 997 GT2 car out there.
Congratulations on the podium finish. You all looked happy to be up there. I take it the team manager was happy. He stalked past us at the paddock , and just held up TEN fingers to the nice ladies in the bar... then started passing them out to the mechanics! |

So All-Inkl still hold entries 7&8, and presumably the points, while Reiter gets to start all over again with a new number 28?
Seems odd to me, but if it keeps the 2 screamers in the field, it gets my vote. |

Correct. ALL-INKL.COM = #7/#8, all points collected until now
Reiter Engineering = #28, no points |

back to the race thread: Van de Poele- villain because he threw it away, or hero because he's won loads before? |

I would say that Van de Poele is neither. The Carsport Holland C6R was really the most dominant car of the race and just seemed to be destined to win. Fassler, Hezemans and Gollin were all driving remarkably fast and consistent lap times while Deletraz was solid and didn't make any mistakes. In the end, every car had good and bad breaks and they all were equal in the end. If it didn't rain as much, my guess is Carsport would have won handily.
