Read back in the thread and you will see a previous poster who was listening into the Vauxhall tem radio, they said to Giovanardi that Neal would not attack him..so at best they knew he had a convienient intermittent problem or more likely they colluded before the weekend even began to make life easy for the Vauxhalls and restrict Plato!!
Employ even a modicum of common sense and its plain to see what happened. |

Assuming that this is true, there are a number of ways that a pit crew could know. Maybe VXR had someone listening to Team Halford's radio? or even knew what was going on by being near to their garage.
Obviously the only people who would really know the answer are Matt Neal and VXR. We shouldn't assume that something is the case purely because that's how it appears. |

If you listen to Matt's statement closely, he doesn't even state that the problem was fixed himself. It was causing him problems at high speeds, (when the Vauxhalls are strongest), yet was driveable at slow speeds (when the SEATs are strongest). He also states that he was 'learning to drive around the problem' as the race progressed, that's why Giovanardi got passed quickly, Chilton took longer to get past and Plato didn't manage to even with his gains made at the chicane.

A very Plato-esque post. As mentioned before, only a handful of people [B]know[B] the thruth behind Matt Neal's driving performance.

You'll have to agree to disagree folks - lets not turn this thread into a point-scoring match between the two of you
