Mountain Legend

Has the Castrol Film of the 1965 Targa Florio (Mountain Legend) been released on DVD?

Mountain Legend

No, Steve, surprisingly it hasn't.

The reason for asking is that I spotted a review in a 1966 Motor Racing magazine which rated the film very highly.

It seems a shame that such classic events and films are neglected in this way when other less worthy offerings get the 'star treatment'.

The VHS video is still available from Duke

It is, in my humble opinion, a true classic and my favourite motor sport film, and it recaptures the easy-going nature of 1965 motor racing, even at international level. Great Raymond Baxter commentary.

Yes and it also features the Targa Top GT40 that ran at the six hour this year.
