yesterday it worked for both the JLMC and Spanish GT, not bad I should say!! That prancing unicorn's horn seems to work fine. I suggest we open a different topic on this one however...

From what I remember of the brief when the car first ran, the front end was being redone to better route the vents. I believe an extra vent was also being added to the hood.

Thats a big vent in the bonnet, what on earth has happened? I take it the air is being pushed in toward that not out topward the gills, judging by the resculpting of the nostrils? So what are the gills now for?

They do, but International GT open isnt a national championship. And the GT2 class is the headlining class of International GT open.

GPC has some more 430 cars, they have 2 LMS chassis and i think 3-4 more chassis for GT Open (one of this is the chassis used in LMS by the belgian team... the gordons sponsored one)

Catching up late on this..
AF Corse ran the new induction system on the Muller car as early as FIA GT in Nogaro.. Main difference seems to be the way in which the air is channelled into the engine.. There's a completely new inlet/induction system for better breathing and, I'd guess, better BHP/lb.ft... if you look into the engine compartment, it's easy to spot.. no fancy plenum chambers.. lots of function.. and possibly a touch of ram air effect.. but I am no techie though.. so don't quote me.. Sport Auto in Germany ran the story last month.. with my pictures. |

A lot of Ferrari F430s are kicking around in International GT Open, with smaller numbers in the Spanish and Italian series. A number of these cars were present as part of the huge grid for the Intl GT Open finale at Barcelona:
Scuderia Playteam Sarafree x 2 RSV Motorsport x 2 Advance Engineering (AF Corse) x 4 GPC x 3 Andorra x 1 =12 There are several cars that could have appeared but didn't which don't appear in that list. Of course, there were several 430s active in Brazil that same weekend. The strength of the cars in series like Intl GT make it feasible for top-flight teams to replace their cars with the 2008 model and find a market for their 2007 chassis. |

Yeah but it sucks that everything Ferrari posts is associated with their club and you have to pay through the nose for it. At least Porsche gives you free scrensavers and sounds. But damn that car looks sweet and sounds great.

looking good for sure but it's not a good car as you may think... for me it is a "fake" road racer, it's predecessor (360 CS) was much rawer and more track focused... and the CCM brakes seems to need a lot more of development too...

Did I miss something? From all the reviews i've seen or read the Ferrari 430 is a huge step forward over the 360. Sure some people may prefer the 360 but you have to admit it has been made obsolete pretty quickly by the 430, both on the track and on the road.
