mattray has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

brakedisc should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Good start for the Fluid/Vand D gang especially since the chassis is not rated. Looks like Sorenson will be the best Van D runner although it will be interesting to see how DB gets on at his local circuit. Looking forward to Knockhill.

As I have said before, I expected Sorenson to be up there, the boy is good.

It looks like another year of everyone else fighting for the scraps from Jamun's table. And there maybe even less to go round as Blanchard will be taking whatever Boyd tosses away. Sorenson and Barber may take the odd win but I can't really see anyone challeging for the title. Very early to judge I know, but hey, we have been here before.

I agree Steve. I first saw Boyd at the Festival last year when he was racing kents and you could clearly see then that he not only was a very special driver but also was fortunate enough to have an old head on young shoulders. Quite simply, I thought back then that the championship would be his to lose. the fact that he is with Jamun only cements that fact in my mind. There will be 2 or 3 others who will probably win races this year but I doubt they will mount a credible challenge to him if he keeps his head.

Yes, we have seem this before in recent years!

Another strong show by Boyd at Knockhill although his spin in race 3 shows that he does have a weak link. Good turnout for the series and good to catch up with all the gossip. Very tight in qualifing and if Mr Boyd was not involved could have the makings of a good close championship. Safe to say that the 08VD is not anywhere as good as the Mygales and needs a bit of sorting. Enjoyed it enough to want to get down to see another couple of rounds later in the year.
