autosport adverts
Back of this weeks autosport, seems BTC racing are selling both the Lexus, which we knew about, and also one of the Toledos? I'm guessing it is the Howell/oliver car?
Anyone know why the sudden change to a perhaps one car team? Seems to make more sense though, they are a small outfit after all. Simon |

Does seem odd as they only just purchased the Seat, can only assume one is not going to run again or are they in money trouble at over stretching themselves by still having the lexus cars still?

IF there is an ulterior motive for selling one of the Toledos in their care, I am sure we will hear something when the team feels fit to do so! |

Why, do you know for sure they wont be there? Is it because they cant get on with the front wheel drive cars(stockton/oliver) & prefer rear wheel drive cars & thats why one is up for sale to test the water for interest |

I dont no which Seat BTC racing have forsale but after Oliver being so sucessfull in truck racing i think he must find it hard to adjust to firstly a car and secondly running mid-field and backwards. Maybe this is one of the reasons a Seat is up forsale, and he is pulling out on his BTCC racing and going back to the trucks. |

Blimey this has really got hot in here, I am sure there are many possible reasons why they are selling one of the cars and therefore pepole will look at the picture and draw a logical answer why, I dont know so can only speculate but am happy for someone to step foward with the answer.
With credit crunch being such a topic its logical people will jump to cash being a reason, who knows they could have secured a major sponser and can now grade to newer S2000 machines. |
