Rob Benson is Back?
Interesting to read in yesterday's MeN that Mr Benson is back in Australia in an engine building/development capacity for PMM.
Fresh with the knowledge of the tricks of the trade in NASCAR engine building for DEI, and recent (2004..) experience at FPR, you would imagine that Mr Benson will be able to make a solid impact on the PMM engine program. Lots of money being invested as pioneers, and choosing not to sit at the end of the WP supply line like so many other Holden teams.... |

Morris is making some very good business decisions, now it's time to make one more and get someone who can drive in the #67.

Even Craig Lowndes is being quoted in Melbourne's afternoon Mx as saying the category needs at least one more, if not two, manufacturers to make it continue to be viable!

Mt Benson has been building engines for quite some time. I'm sure he'll do well with PMM as long as PMM gives him enough money to spend on all the good bits that go up and down inside the engines.
I don't know what the chat about other manufacturers has to do with it. |

Supercheap and the team must be stoked with Mr Ingall's performance so far this season. If a few more dollars can buy a few more 10ths (maybe 10/10ths???), I am sure the dollars will be spent. |

Sweet....Those uppie-downie-expensive things inside the engine can make a car go real fast.
After having a tour through Bright's Workshop and seeing what it takes to make the grade, PMM must be doing well. A good driver helps, but the effort from the team also helps Ingall look good. I have a new respect for the back markers after seeing JB's workshop. It's an eye opener. Ever get the chance to have a peek, grab it. |
