justincase should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Btc Racing Btcc

Just looked at dunlop btcc site & they say on there that BTC RACING will not be at Snett this weekend. They are not even using Gareth Howell their stand in driver & saying he will not be around anymore this season for BTC.As for Oliver they say he is now just doing the truck racing he is no1 at.
Does anyone know if Stockton will continue in the BTCC this year as i think there are a couple of his team on the forums who could clear all this up thanks

Chris is missing Snetterton due to other business commitments he has and is expected return at Oulton Park.

The SEAT used by Stuart Oliver is for immediate sale, as is one of the Lexus.

Let's wait until BTC are ready to make an official announcement !

A shame if this is the case, although it makes sense that Stuart would have gone back to the trucks, he's more likely to succeed.

I'd guess the rest of the season may be hinged on selling the cars in autosport.

Fair enough, was just speculating as to why the cars are for sale rather than trying to get another driver in the seat.

More curious is why they are only now selling one Lexus..unless the other has already been passed on?

In the current climate of finding funded drivers I am not suprised they are deciding to sell the second Seat, you only have to look at the Chevy drive which is still not taken.

I'm all for speculation and discussion!

All I was saying is that 'only the team can tell us the truth'!

I have just responded to some questions asked!

Oh Icebaby, you are right, they have already sold one Lexus!

whatever happened to Speed Equip? They built the Lexus' then sold em off the next year, and so far as i've noticed haven't done anything since. Would be good to see the Lexus' back in the BTCC, but you have to say well done to BTC for actually being able to sell the cars after the reliability issues they showed. A good looking, smart, RWD car, it'll be a shame if its gone.

I think their major backer Jason Porter left the team.
