F3L has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Justin at Coyne

Fantastic news all round. I reckon Justin will race better than ever now. He will want to beet NHL & Doornbos while Coyne will want to beet KV& Mooraes and you know i reckon they will. Watch out for some amazing drives from Justion and 09 just got a whole load better.

It's just Coyne though isn't it. Will be great on the roads & streets and an also ran on the ovals. Much like Graham Rahal funnily enough....

Good point re Rahal although I think JW is faster on road courses and slower on ovals.

The new engineer, Pappas, may make a difference if Dale finds budget.

Justin has the potential to be very very good indeed, as running Seabass close has shown us. Certainly worth half a dozen Milka Duno's in terms of talent - if only his budget reflected that......

Sorry, he IS very good - but the first chance he got in the NHL car was when it was a Dallara.... He'd beat Seabass in equal equipment any day. As for ovals, you're only as fast as your engineers can make you go, and that comes with experience....

Go Justin!

Bruno showed over the last season or 2 that Coyne can get decent race results - best of luck to Justin

I believe its only what is on the rumour mill at the moment - quite unusual for drivers to be associated with Coyne this far ahead of a race weekend actually!!

It's confirmed. He is testing with them this week at Homestead-Miami as well.

Excellent that he at least has a seat. This guy should be being courted by the likes of Penske, Ganassi and Andretti Green (not to menion NHL!).

Indeed Knowlesy - the fact Milka can get an NHL seat and Justin can't is a sad reflection of the state of even a good IRL team's finances.

Milka's effectively a bonus driver from NHL - Doornbos can be seen as the direct replacement for Wilson, and he may prove to be just as good. I'm glad that Justin has a decent drive, though he'll have to improve on ovals to make any impression.

if his foot is flat to the floor, what else can HE improve? It's a large part the car (he hasn't had an up to date chassis so far) and engineered setup that generates the speed.

That is the inherant problem with the current IRL package on ovals, too much downforce too little power.

Whoever has the car most dialled in (the Penskes and Ganassis) will dominate.
