Nothing to do with Lada. Thompson signed to do the endurance races in Australian V8's long before he signed with either Dynamics or Lada, which meant he was never going to be able to do the last 3 rounds anyway.

Thats a great shame if its true Thompson is out for the final three rounds, as said this may be subject to change if he is indeed still in the champioship fight. Going to Lada is a mistake although I understand why he would take the drive financially.
Putting Herbert in the car for the final three rounds will leave the team with two drivers running around near the back, not good. |

I too agree that its a mistake... I'm off to Brands in a few minutes and not relishing seeing one of Britain's best touring car drivers pottering around at the back of the field in a dog of a car from a dog of a brand. Money talks I guess... but still.
