Ahhhh, I knew it is sounded familiar. Earlier somewhere I read "Rubicon Racing" as one of the suspected sponsors.

Rubicon - Jason Priestly - Canadian = all makes sense now.

I knew I had heard of rubicon from somewhere. 1990's Infiniti series or something? Jason Priestly badly injured?

Am I right? I didn't really follow IRL after the open wheel split in the late 90's.

FAZZT could well be the worst name for a racing team ever.

Oh well, I don't care what they're called, at least they're on the grid. I can't imagine they'll run two cars in 2010, though, since they had said originally they wouldn't in the first year.

Tag and Andrew Ranger were teammates in NASCAR Canada, and while Ranger has said he really enjoys stock cars, he would come back to IRL if he was offered something full-time instead of just an Indy only. It's a longshot, and I really don't see it happening, but I'd like to dream.

I hope this goes well... from the sound of it though, it could end badly for Mr. Tagliani. He really needs to speak with Tyler Tadevic about his experiences with this group.

If what I've heard about this new "team" is correct, it's more like Alex is pay driver bringing in cash to race with the same group that was involved with Tyler and Pacific Coast Motorsports a while back - with the team being branded in Alex's name. Tyler lost his house with them, granted he made the mistake of putting too much of his own finances on the line(and of trusting Mexican govt officials), but I fear it could end up the same way for Tags. Hopefully, as stated, Alex is bringing in enough sponsorship money to cover the costs.

Very interesting. I'd like to know more about who all is bringing money to the table. Tags, Azzi, Freudenburg and Preistley, etc.

I'd like to see James Hinhcliffe get a go , he has been strong in the junior ranks for years , very personable and a good Tv and marketing head on him as well.

Almost the perfect package , just needs the chance to show what he can do in the top ranks.

As for tags and his team , Good stuff I say , Ive always liked tags and think he just needs that little push to make a big break through , maybe running his own team will be that push...sink or swim time perhaps
