Personally, I'm not sure that I buy all this rumour of Verstappen going to Benetton. If he was that good, they'd have kept him in the first place. One thing has struck me about Jenson going there though:
Last year in F3 he drove for Promatecme, which is the works Renault team. Therefore Renault already know how good he is, and it's therefore logical that they'd be only to happy to take him for a couple of years while they get themselves sorted out, especially as he will know all the tracks and have much more general knowledge about the way F1 works. With Villeneuve definately not going yet, and Wurz 99.9% certainly out of the door on the end of Flavio's boot, oppertunity is knocking for Jenson. I hope he siezes the moment, rather than complaining about the noise. |

I'm not a fan of Jenson, but I think he deserves a fair crack. The only other option really is BAR, seeing as Jordan looks unlikely, as does Jaguar, which is between 3 drivers. I'd like to see him in a good seat, not in some tail-enders team (no offence Minardi fan!).

Don't think he's the one to stay in F1.
He could get lucky and find himself a seat next season, but doubt that already. Just looking at the overwhelming talent in BF3 this year and the guys who showed him the way in his BF3 season, makes him look like an earlyborn without a future. One can already figure what's it gonna be like after next season when the ol' tarts are finally leaving the scene and shooting stars like Tomas Scheckter, Takuma Sato, Narain Karthikeyan, Nicolas Kiesa, Andrew Kirkaldy or Gianmaria Bruni are knocking on heavens door. Their awesome championship leader Antonio Pizzonia has already shown he's the man and ready to take on F1. That ol' fox Flavio shouldn't hesitate a sec in signing this guy and please not in one of those killing life-long contracts like he forced upon Fisichella and Trulli. Just plain and simple for a year or two. After that? Ferrari, Mclaren anything ... 'because he's worth it'! Button is gonna get out of room I am afraid |

I think Button will find a seat. Although it will be hard for him as he has a five year contract with Williams and some teams don't like signing drivers they're just going to have to give back.
