Masters @ Donington - 3/4 & 5 September

Good news, the Masters are back at Donny!
We will be running all our usual beautiful cars over the National Circuit on 3 days at the begining of September. We'd love to see as many of you there as possible, if you can make it, please contact our Chief Marshal Fay Crook.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Um... Is it Masters or BARC there or both? I'm already down to do the Trucks at Donington but I hadn't heard about the Masters series?

I think you'll find that when Donny reopens that all the dates released earlier in the year will change.

When is it going to re-open and is everything going to be given a proper run through before any public, marshals & teams turn up?

Bit difficult to give it a "run through" without any drivers, marshals or the public to check out the different aspects of running an event.

Has any one been into Donington lately?, late last week I was told that the creditors had been in and stripped the whole of race control!, perhaps not a bad thing with that telephone system they had.

The program for BTCC at Brands last weekend showed a second event at Silverstone on the weekend they should be at Donington.

If so, then that creates a clash with the Renault World Series event, which is scheduled to take place that weekend.

Yes, least of their problems - probably a benefit.

Oops! I was obviously looking at the Formula Renault and Clio pages in the prog as they will be at Silverstone supporting the 3.5s. Formula Ford and an as yet unannounced other series will replace them at Donington.

According to this weeks Autosport Bob, that is correct. I'll be there for the Masters, riding shotgun for Terry in the S/C.
