Engines used 2010
Alonso has used all 8 engines so far! A new engine is in for Monza (Martin Brundle, BBC during the race).
Is there anywhere to find out how many have been used and for how long? Scruntineering reports give a small clue, but is there something better? |

Not to worry. Alonso can use Massa's remaining engines.

Ferrari could be in real trouble in the next races. Everyone else seems to managed their engines better!

I think Ferrari had some specific engine issues early in the season that cost them a couple of engines per driver. It has now left them having to eke out the remaining engines over more races than most others have had to.
I don't think there are any particular Ferrari engine problems now, but for sure they are vulnerable to some sort of problems during the rest of the races: "Turning down" to improve longevity Restricting mileage on Friday and Saturday Taking the 10 place penalty for using an extra engine Suffering engine failure due to running beyond the design engine life |
