Gorgeous track!
It's also look like a lot of fun to race on judging from the Youtube vid. Nicely done! |

One of the problems with Racer is that I cannot find out how to "train" the AI to be a competition... And, since multiplayer mode is also out of question, all i can do is do "empty" laps - laps where i am the only car out, so evaluating racing situations can only be guesstimates - but based pn those I agree: this is very probably a great racing track.

Do a warm-up lap.
Halfway press CTRL F6. When you pass the start-finishline it starts recording your lap. Stay on the tarmac. After you've finished press CTRL F7 and it's recorded. Now to get you're AI competitive use "aitool" to smooth out the driving line and increase their speed. Really like the track btw. Are you going to release this? |

Thanks for all the compliments on the track, I didn't expect it to get this much exposure,
Thanks Bio for showing the track better than I could with just sketchup. Bio do what ever you need to make the track downloadable or accessible for people who want to try it. I am going to try this game sometime this week. |

OK.
Don't expect much though - the game itself isn't so great, I only use it because it can open the tracks made with Blender/TrackEd... bio |

Now that we're talking about it though... Why couldn't more of you's tracks be available? Right now i have some time to make some tracks, so, if anyone wants to see their track tested, just tell me which one and fill me in with some necessary data on the track and I'll give it a shot.
Don't expect too much though in the detail department - right about what you saw here... So far i have three of your tracks made - this one, one called lasham and one of BBF's tracks - thoguh the two latter are rather old and thus not that enjoyable... I might start with them. bio |
