Following the seventh round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at OultonPark the Speedy Spirit Award for the event has been unanimously awarded to the Racesafe Marshals for their hard work in the difficult conditions.

Congrats to all that endured the weather. I was 20 mins down the road and know only too well what was being thrown at us all last weekend. Its great that "suffering" has been recognised and appreciated

I was at the BSB marshalling on Dear Leap ... it was horrible weather however still a very enjoyable weekend even if i didn't have my waterproof trousers that day ..

the bottom of Dear Leap did end up looking like a lake and the water was being replaced quicker than the sweeper could shift it
