Motorsportgirli should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Croft Nostalgia Weekend

Just a heads up to those camping this weekend, that marshals camping has been moved round the back behind the old pit straight.

The plot isnt that big so could be "cosy" and there is one gents loo and one ladies with no shower block. They may bring more round but they didnt last year! Nearest shower is at clervaux bout 5 min walk from the campsite. Also bring ya ear plugs as the parentals were kept awake til 4ish last year.

Sorry if this is a bit of a negative post, but wanted people to be prepared!!

Nostalgia Weekend at Croft? Does that mean that I throw another brake pad off the car and then attempt to brake for sunny in? Good old days eh. All comes rushing back, much like the scenery did on that day
On a slightly more serious note, the last time I was there is was very, very windy. I'm not saying that it may always be windy but if it feels like it the wind can certainly go for it, so a few of the larger size tent pegs might be prudent to have in the boot.

I just want to say - on behalf of the Historic Formula Ford 2000 contingent - huge thanks to all the marshals who worked so hard on Saturday afternoon to make the circuit raceable for us, the Guards Trophy, Juniors and Roadsports. I spent a bit of time in race control, watching the weather simulations being scrutinised and the decisions about track activity being made. Throughout all that, the CCTV was showing the huge efforts being made by the Orange Army to clear water off the track. I doubt if many people would have thought that two hours of racing would be possible if they had looked at the circuit at 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon.

I just hope you were all able to enjoy the fantastic racing on Sunday, even though it was another long day for you.

Thanks again...

A big thank you to all the Marshalls at Croft this weekend! Saturday weather was foul but we still had a great race in Roadsports even though it was almost 7pm when we started - great job clearing the track of so much water, but at least it washed away the oil.

The on Sunday we had a nasty little mess on the first start in Roadsports with a load of cars taken out. So thanks for clearing that up too and getting the track fit for racing again in short order. And flagging (Blues and Yellows) were excellent.

All the best

THANK YOU FOR YOUR THANKS, lots of drivers showed their appreciation as they came around on their slowing down lap, that makes it worthwhile along with the fantastic racing once we got started. it was certainly challenging, it felt like i was sweeping the sea at one point, as fast as we were sweeping it off the track, it was running back onto it.!!!! good work out though! for me long days are a bonus!!! .......more racing! yes, i know, my family call me sad!!!! i really enjoyed this meeting last year, and will hopefully look forward t o seeing you all again next year.

Just like to say a big thank you to all at Croft for the welcome on my first time. I know it's grim up t'north, but I didn't realise it was going to be that grim, I was looking for the Ark. Thanks to Rod and Ian, my fellow frogmen on post 7. Great day on Sunday with all the extra races. Hope to make the trip again as I just have to follow the A1, probably won't travel on a Friday afternoon next time though.
Thanks to all the drivers for their patience and appreciation and great racing.

Why do you need your heater that high in the middle of summer, and you've got a convertible!
