It doesn't seem to be published anywhere but don't hold your breath for large grids.

A grand total of 63 vehicles took part in qualifying over the five races with 21 of them in the Intermarque race and only 10 in the 90 minute GT4 enduro. Those sort of numbers can't do much in attracting spectators, marshals or future competitors surely.

A few photos from the qualifying session for the Pre-War Team Challenge (second highest entry - 13 vehicles) are below.

Some great shots of wonderful cars, I chose to miss the meeting because of predicted poor entries.

Sad to see so many series such as AMOC, Heritage etc struggling so much.

In the case of AMOC, self inflicted, sadly. But that's only my opinion, of course!

I agree there John, as for the Heritage they seemed to get a bit too cocky at the start of the year and ditched a lot of people that had supported them in the past, but that's just my opinion of course! and a few other people's as well.

The poor turn out for this meeting was a major disappointment as I remember AMOC meetings of previous years with decent size grids. I seem to recall reading something by John Turner (I think) about the problems a while ago - it would seem that nothing has been sorted out yet.

thanks for that,

at least the small grids at brands aren't that bad on a 1 miles circuit. there was always someone to race when the tracks that short, plus its not too bad for spectators. snetterton in a couple weeks won't be as good if the grids aren't bigger. having said that, 21 in the intermarque suits me so I'm happy. think we had 30+ earlier in the year.
I was either trying to overtake or defend on every lap of the race so i can't of been that bad for the spectators!!

I think that the Intermarque grids have managed to maintain an acceptable level and certainly agree that the Brands Indy circuit can 'carry' smaller grids.
