TerryD should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F3/GT @ Rockingham 3rd & 4th Sept.

Who is going? It would seem that marshals are thin on the ground or even the track! So if you've got nothing to do at the weekend or just want to get away from home come along! Its a good meeting and no late finishes(curfew is 18.00)

That's probably the busiest weekend ever for radio traffic - the enforcement of "four wheels off" gave posts 11, 12, 18 and 19 a *lot* of reporting!
I had a relatively quiet weekend on post 13 (compared to some other posts). A couple of pull-offs, a lot of rear-end tapping and the odd spin. We could have given the number 11 Beetle in the VW race an ice-dance score for the perfect Triple Salkow exiting Pif Paf - three times round, right across the grass to the outside, caught and returned
The (ahem) "changeable" weather caught a lot of drivers out on Sunday though - the line through from Chapman to Gracelands was changing by the minute in terms of grip, and there were a number in the GT race drifting right the way through.
Somehow though we didn't end up with a Caterham wheel arch. I feel a bit left out!

I would like to say thank you to all the very hard working marshals who turned out for this meeting... It was at times a bit testing but all posts and off track duties all worked well together ... The reports about driving standards and 4 wheel excursions were dealt with by the clerks and only finished 5 mins down despite the best of the British weather arriving Sunday ... At least we finished in the sunshine ....
Thank you again..

Apologies to those of you who were sick of the sound of my voice by the end of Saturday. I was too.

I'm still having nightmares of 4W/O!

Good weekend on 12, the F3s seemed to like it as a car park though.

One funny thing that happened in the last GT race on sunday! The Audi that was on pole failed to start because someone had left the air-jacks down. Lots of spinning wheels but no movement, till a team member ran onto the grid and released the air-jacks!!!!

You must have been on either 10a or 12 then? Yes I heard you a lot and you must have had a lot of paperwork to do as well?

Post 18. 9 reports for 180 incidents of 4 wheels off. I managed to wear out 2 headsets.

I only had about 30 I think, mostly for 12 it was cars just deciding that it looked a nice place to stop...
