Autosport International 2012
Prices as seen on the ASi website:
Adult (£30) and Child tickets (£19.50)
The Box office at the NEC is open when i am at work (have always brought tickets inadvance but in person), and the information centre at the nec, has no information at all about the event. |

They've put the price up again then. I really wouldn't bother with an upgraded ticket, you won't miss much by not having one. To be honest I gave up with the live action altogether a couple of years ago, it's largely crap. Actually at that price I may just give the whole thing a miss.

I gave up going after the 2009 show as it was a shadow of it's former self.
It's just become too expensive for the smaller exibitors to attend. The best shows were in the early 2000's IMHO when you could hardly see any red carpet !!! This weekend's Classic Car Show looks far more appealing: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...49#post2983549 Last edited by Paulaweybridge; 9 Nov 2011 at 12:55. |

good old days
early years of the ASi, live rally stage or the rally school in the gravel car park, is two things the organisers could look in to having back to give the show a new lease of life

Add in 8 or so quid to park your car remember!
Let's not forget that little nugget, haven't gone to this shambles for years as it would actually be the most expensive meeting I would go to all year! Total waste of time and money unless you can blag it somehow. |

Anyone who collects Tesco club points can get one ticket for eleven pounds worth of points.

Unless your interested in obtaining autographs, I wouldn't bother with the Paddock Pass or VIP pass. A couple of my mates get them each year and spend most of the day waiting for stars and not visiting the actual show.
I've been every year since 97 and will be booking my standard ticket soon. |

I haven't exhibited for ages apart from a cheap deal a couple of years back. Be interested to hear the thoughts of a regular. |

Good point, I might consider the meet if I didnt have to pay that insane parking fee!
Seems ridiculous when i always walk to the venue at the bike show and it takes about 10 minutes! |

i can recommend picking a railway station on the route with good parking facilities (free on-street for extra cost saving) and catching the train in. the station is actually closer to the venue than most of the car parks, and it's cheaper if there's only one of you

One change I do like is the change of hall for the LIVE Action Arena. The bigger hall its in now is much better. |

I agree the arena is good, but why not offer a ticket where HAVING to go to the area is not included for those of that have no interest in watching staged races and the fee of someone presenting it.

You don't have to pay or go to the Arena if you don't want to.

You do, I believe you can only buy a ticket that includes an arena price?
30 quid isnt it, I dont think you can buy a cheaper ticket that only allows you entry to the show floor. |

Also included in the trade price is a £10 show guide that the public only pay £5 for so I'd like trade entry at £15 and I'll not bother with the guide that goes in the bin half way round the show. |

I did check all this Tim, and you are right, such a shame that Hayshed have done this.
I am sure plenty of people who are maybe buying things for a season (as I could be) will now perhaps just work mail order and miss out on bargains because of Haymarkets pathetic greed. I could not do trade anyway, and that is really only a jolly for PR and journo's to be honest. Why would they watch the indoor show! We as public are not given a choice and that is enough to warrant a letter of complaint and a no show from me |
