Andrea, have you thought of giving Val a call to see if she can get you some contact details for someone local(ish)?

Thank you that is really nice - I have been advised to return my overalls and passes etc and get a refund, so that is the end..........but thank you very much.

I may contact Donington - not sure yet because race season is starting and gotta go through their training day etc......etc.....

You don't need to do a Donington training day to marshal there - in fact, the same goes for any circuit.

It may be worth considering other circcuits such as Oulton & Mallory - the wider you cast your net the more likely it is that you'll find somebody who can give you a lift.

I'm sure we have people that come to Donington from that area, and no you don't need to do specific training for there.

Try contacting Di Hardy (diane@doningtonesteam.org.uk) E.S. Team Co-ordinator or Geoff Mollart (m.members@marshals.co.uk) Midland Region Membership Sec.

Don't give up before you've started!
