750 Mc Silverstone

I have posted 55 images from this meeting on the usual site, some I trust will not make the wife laugh again (they know who they are!).
Imagine, you have been marshalling at Silverstone for thirty years and never got your picture took, and some bloke on his first ever day as a trainee gets his presence recorded! It just ain't fair.

John Powell was racing on Saturday and on duty on Sunday, I have a number of snaps of his efforts, which I will be pleased to send to him if he let's me have an e-mail address.

Nice to see so many friendly faces again.

Until the Spring Start - Cheers!

Bob.

Really Ian!

You do not have a link to my site installed in a prominent position in your 'favourites' folder????

I thought every marshall learned where this was at their Mother's knee!!

My ego is well and truly shattered. It lies in ruins, scattered to the four winds of Silverstone.

I will never be the same again.

Yours truly,
A sadder, but wiser,

Bob.

Sharpy,
Why not identify yourself, so that I don't have to keep taking your picture - well only if I catch you bending/sleeping/eating/falling over etc, etc.

Thanks for putting young Ian right. Spring Start?

Cheers,

Bob the bauble.

Sharpy,
I can inform you that you were not the only marshal to tell me that his wife laughed at his photo's, but as someone once said;

"At least it proves that I WAS at Silverstone."

Suspicious types these wives, just as well they don't know about all of the beautiful young ladies who marshal these days!!!

Which reminds me of the chap who was sitting quietly at home when his wife comes in belts him with a frying pan.

"What did you do that for?" He asked.

The wife showed him a piece of paper with the name Jenny on it.

"I found this in your trouser pocket". She said.

"NO!" He said. "that's not a girl friend, that's a horse I backed last week."

The missus' apologised, but a few days later she came in with a much bigger frying pan and knocked him cold.

When he came round he said.

"What did you do that for?"

Wife; "YOUR HORSE RANG!!!"
