I was there! Crazy day for a trainee but loved every minute. Scary crash on the outside of Copse in one of the Alfa races, never seen anything like it before!

was a good weekend
Spent Saturday doing Pits And then for Sunday got asked to Flobserve on Post 17 (Woodcote Straight) whilst also helping with pits/startline - was good fun. having a spun and continued on the straight was definitely an interesting few moments. |

I was on Copse in the afternoon as part of my Taster day. What an introduction to being a marshal. I couldn't believe the carnage of the alfa's I think it was 8 cars in total. Was very impressed by the professionalism and organization during the clear up, and its definitely got me wanting to come back. A big thanks to all who organize the day and all the guys who stopped to chat and explain there section.

Luckily (especially for me!) all those Alfa's headed to Copse and Copse Exit rather than heading our way! Jedi's were - well - interesting! We did establish they have very nice split rim wheels after collecting the debris from the crunch at Copse In, and we also seemed to be the primary track conditions/weather/tyre choice consultants for the series LOL |

Thanks for all your help Tony, was certainly an experience! Still got the bruise on my foot where the wheel I picked off the track fell to bits in my hand!
Its good that after only 3 meetings at Silverstone, you start to recognise faces. Can see why some people do if for years and years!! Right, I'm off to sort my MSA membership! |
