How so? Don't they all have the same ones?

I think no team believes that the tyres are solely the reason for the race results. After all, we aren't seeing cars or teams winning races that haven't won races before, and the teams that haven't won races before, aren't winning races now.

You still need a Red Bull, Ferrari, or whatever, in order to win races and score points consistently.

AussieTimmeh should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This talk of race decided by tires is rubbish and foolish. Everyone has to use the hard and soft during the race, and the fastest team/car won. Alonso chose to use the slower tire at the end. Webber used it at the start. They both used it, and the fastest combo won. What is the issue exactly! Haters gonna hate.

I gave the race an 8. 7 for the actual racing and incidents (hope Kobayashi's crew are ok) and 1 extra for the enjoyment of Webber winning.

An entertaining 8. Races all down the grid. A few charged from deep in the grid, a few changes at the front and only one foolish move that ruined two quick car's races

Surprised the DRS can be considered "overpowered" when Hamilton overtook Alonso despite Alonso using DRS.

Best thing about the DRS location was that it set up overtaking on the old start/finish straight.

DRS can't be considered to be one thing or the other until it's actually used in race conditions. It can't be relied upon to guarantee a pass.

IceMan_PJN has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I'm conflicted here. On the one hand, I found Silverstone to be perhaps the least of the races thus far in 2012, but on tge other hand that's just because 2012 has been such a great season and relative to most races from most other years Silverstone was pretty good.

6, I guess.

Seven. Not the greatest thrill but still enjoyable, following on from the Moto GP race which saw Stoner fall at almost the final hurdle. Well doen the Beeb to giving us both events. much better than enduring tennis.

lol, lets bring back the grooved Bridge-STONE tires, then how long will it take for the same people to complain about the lack of passing and predictable racing.
