All IMO.
I'm not sure I get your point here? He was pretty harshly told off last year for defending hard at Monza - I'd have thought that he's had such an unlucky year that there is little point defending hard and would rather bring the car home.
Also, what about the last 13 laps or so when he re-overtook most of the car that had taken him before? Lets be honest here, most of it is the car rather than Michael's driving

Also, Rosberg is being made fairly ordinary by Schumacher this year. 6-1 to Schumacher on races they've both finished, if Schumacher hadn't had more retirements than anyone else this season then he'd also have more than 100 points, easily. Rosberg is being beaten at qualifying too in most cases.

I can't see Michael joining Mac now as McLaren would need to find two drivers fairly quickly when MS and JB retire. However, I think it's Michael's age that is the only thing that would stop it.
If Michael is only doing ok this season then how crap is Nico doing considering he's finished every race?

Let the man ease into retirement in peace and let's stop pretending that he's getting back to where he once stood on top of the pile. I suspect the one person who really knows he's nowhere near his former best is Michael himself.

All IMO.

I think guys like you talked a lot of hot air about him since his return, most likely along the lines of "he wont be staying the whole 3 years" , "he will never beat Rosberg", "he will never be on the podium again". Michael is having fun proving you wrong, but all this on a strictly IMO basis

Ayse's far too long in the tooth to make wild predictions like that.

IMO.

The body language said it all when Lewis got out of his McLaren after winning the italian GP. I think if he wants to stay at McLaren he will be on less money. His behaviour lately really doesn't suit the McLaren way. What we must remember here is the McLaren brand completely dwarfs the Hamilton brand. Lewis is brilliant when he is on form, in fact almost unbeatable when on top form. But it seems to be one issue after another. Ok he could goto Mercedes and get a truck load of money but will he have a winning car. Could he turn that team around? They currently have a seven times world champion in there ranks who up to now has been unsuccessful in turning that team into a dominant force.

Indeed it is.

But I'm right. Because Michael hasn't proved me wrong, frankly.

Absolutely, I can't ever remember making a wild prediction - other than 'It never rains at Le Mans......'

It does look like they might have to give out team orders soon as well. What with Button starting to lagging in the WDC standings. Things are looking 'interesting' at McLaren.

Less than a fortnight ago, many people were also saying that. And then Hamilton got taken out and Button won the race.

It's way too early for team orders. This isn't Ferrari we're talking about.

I agree, but we also have to remember that there is another 1 time world champion who did turn that team into a dominant force, and he is currently Lewis's team mate Imagine the embarrasment, and multiple tweeted telemetry if Lewis went to Jenson's old team and failed to win, after largely being beaten by Jenson in his old team.
