Just like to say how unlucky you was on your first race of the day when you pulled over at our post. I didn't know what to say to you coz you had a look of fury in your eyes (which is to be expected when your leading the race with a lap to go), so I thought I would give you a minute to calm, that's when my mate approached you.


Just glad to see you got the problem sorted for your second race.


Good luck for the rest of your season and see you out on track again at Oulton at the back end of the year.

lol thanks for the message. You must know me well!!! To be honest I wasnt angry, just gutted. The car was mega and I was so comfortable in the lead and was pulling away at over 1 second a lap. I was more gutted that I wasnt told how long was left as had I known it was only 1 lap then I might have tried to get round for 1 more lap to give myself a better chance in race 2. I then didnt help myself by going into the Cascades gravel on lap 1 avoiding a locked up car and dropping back to 22nd!! I was pretty pleased to get back to 4th at the finish though

I try and clap all the marshals on the slow down lap as they were waving and clapping me which was great. It was just a bit tricky on some of the corners with trying to steer with my knee!! (PS dont read that MSA please!)

Will see some of you at Angelsey next month otherwise see you all on the 25th May back at Oulton Park.
