Noodle30 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Skid Pans or Similar N London/Herts/Beds/Essex Etc

Does anybody know of the above or other space that could be rented in or near these areas....not looking for the usual car on hydraulics etc....just a space to hire where Im not going in trouble for practicing a bit of car control in my own car.

Thanks in advance!

Alex

MG's On Track used to do beginner days at North Weald, think SELOC have used it too so it must be rent-able.

Thanks, think this is used by Car Limits exclusively now but will give them a bell......just after a space where I can learn by myself rather than being "coached".......

Parts of Abingdon airfield can be rented. I did a course there last year with Gary Marsh in the morning then joined the track day for the afternoon.

http://www.blytonpark.co.uk/track-hire/

If i recall, its actually cheaper to hire Blaydon for personal use than to share one of Mr Palmers circuits with several hundred oil spitting boy racers.

Try contacting Essex Police at Chelmsford. They've got a very nice little skid pan.

Yes I was going to suggest that too. The last time I was there [albeit over 20 years ago] it was a proper fluid based skid pan.
