I was gone from home for a couple weeks, and just watched. Probably already mentioned, but all I'd like to say is, O'Connell sucks as a presenter.

The Toronto Indy notebook on racer said that Briscoe will be able to drive at mosport. It just couldn't heal in one day.

Johnny O is also there because he knows what he's talking about. I remember a qualifying session from sometime this year, in which O'Connell predicted that a particular PC lap would be really quick. Till and JH disagreed, saying it looked slow. Turned out to be the lap that won the pole.

But hey, 20 years as a presenter, what do I know. Just my opinion. |

Yeah Johnny O grates, but it is nice having a recent driver in the booth. I think Darren Law is much more palatable in Speed's coverage of GA and Le Mans.
Having Brian Till and Hindy for play-by-play is redundant... |

Yeah. I prefer John Hindaugh. This man could make the inside of a cereal box entertaining!

Agree with you on Law. Brian should do billboards, and Hindy do the play-by-play, with insight from Law.

But, he is a lot of fun to listen to. As for the recent driver commentators, Kendall is another who's fairly good. |

I am also no fan of Johnny O as a commentator, but to be fair he seems to me to be much better this year than last.

I liked Johnny O' better when he wasn't talking and he was driving the mighty GT1 Corvettes.
Aa..a....a...a...and ya' know?!" |

He's is getting better and is such a nice guy it is hard for me to not like him. He's still winning too. Just got his 50th win for GM.

I just saw that at the beginning of qualifying on Friday that the track temperature was 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix that everyone talks about; the track temperature there was 133 degrees Fahrenheit. |
