For Reckless Endangerment of your Vehicle in the Pursuit of Championship Points.
This trophy goes to the hardest of hard chargers, the team whose cars have bonnets shaped like accordions, holes where the headlights used to be, front suspension held together with sticky tape, and a spotless rear bumper.

for winning two Hard Charger awards and staying clear of that other award.

For Reckless Endangerment of your Vehicle for No Good Reason.
This salver goes to the greatest of the gutterballers, the drivers who simply cannot keep their car on the road and would rather do doughnuts in the sandpit or test the crash rating of various fences and walls.

for 'winning' the Biggest Loser twice and failing completely at forward progress.

The Golden Yo-Yo
When They Were Good They Were Very Very Good, But When They Were Bad They Were Horrid.
Sometimes they were Super, and sometimes they were Taxis - Super Taxi's R Us takes out the 2014 Golden Yo-Yo by claiming no less than one Hard Charger, one Biggest Loser, two HC Highly Commendeds, and four BL Lowly Commendeds. Yes that is eight out of fourteen rounds Reload experienced either agony or ecstasy!

This trophy, dedicated to a former forumer, fantasy team owner, and two-time top-3 V8SCFC finisher, goes to the team that wins the Ten-Tenths V8Supercar Fantasy Championship.
The twelfth name to be engraved on the Pete55 Memorial Trophy is..... Flying Kiwi Racing!

After a very exciting season (even if it was at my expense ), Flying Kiwi Racing managed to pull clear to take out their second Pete55 Memorial Trophy in a row. Poland Street Racers recorded an excellent second place in their debut year, despite getting stuck in customs and missing the first round! L&P World Famous Racing almost managed to salvage second after a famous choke-job, while Zoom Motorsport and TGI Racing rounded out the top five.

Thus ends the 2014 season, with half the field apparently off to Vegas on a very well deserved vacation! They will be back, along with the rest of the drivers, and Roger's American Invasion, for the 2015 V8Supercar Fantasy Championship in the new year. See you all then!

2014 Season Post-Mortem

Well, our second year has come to a close, and apart from Scott Pye being DQ'd at two of the last three events (i was only told this morning). it was a challenging year. (I'd now wished that i had re-hired Tim Slade and fired Scott Pye after Bathurst, Slade had a really good run in the late season.)

Now, some padding, once again thank you to Antro for a stellar job with moderation of the series, and to all of my fellow competitiors for clean driving and solid competition. Flying Kiwi better watch their back, everyone is after him next year to peel that #1 off his car/s.

But anyway, that is that for 2014. Time to park the transporter back at the shop to start preparing for 2015, and hiring an all new team as two of my drivers will lose seats ('Apple' Pye and 'Nitro' Nick) and one slips off into retirement ('The Enforcer').

Announcements will be made in early Feb prior to the test weekend (and i was looking forward to watching the 12-hour, better set the PVR).

Another Accolade For Silver Fernz Motorsport

After receiving the Paul Radisich Trophy in 2012, Silver Fernz Motorsport has now added the 2014 Precast Concrete Federation Salver to their cabinet.

"We are honoured to received this award, as it means we have gone from 'reckless endangerment in the pursuit of championship points' in 2012 to 'reckless endangerment for no good reason' in 2014. The common denominator for both awards has been Craig Lowndes being one of our team drivers. We will welcome back Craig as one of our drivers for 2015, and hopefully crash and bash our way to more end of season awards"
