Maison Blanche Camping
Not sure if everyone on here is aware but it would appear from other forums that the changes caused by the new porsche experience centre has dramatically reduced the availability of camping on this site and therefore many people who have been promised pitches on this site are now being told that they are no longer available and are being offered other sites.

Nothing new
The ACO has not offered any spaces on Maison Blanche this year via its website. We've discussed the Porsche Experience encroachment on MB elsewhere on this forum. |

After having my group on MB for 20 years I decided to play safe and booked the group onto houx due to the uncertainty of the site for 2015. I did not want to get bumped of to one of the sites at the Porsche Curves. It looks like that may have been a wise decision!

On severalof the other forums people who were expecting MB from thier agencies are being offered other sites and most are not happy about it

i'm not sure i understand that attitude. the aco have been pretty transparent about not having a clue how it's going to end up (at least through the agencies), and they still don't have a clue so you either take one of the alternatives your agency is offering you or hang on and try and get hold of what the aco *does* make available later.
don't get me wrong, the aco way of doing things isn't exactly efficient but you can't blame them for erring on the side of caution and promising nothing at this stage. better than selling pitches that don't exist, then having to shunt people to beausejour later on when there's nothing to choose from. |

Even worse: people who were buying other sites, got put on hold because the MB buyers got moved ahead on the list for those other sites. The initial buyers for the others are less than happy too!
