Jean Todt is reacting to the bad press about him, and maybe but highly unlikely the fan survey so he does not give a ****... If he had balls he would slam his hand down and say "enough these are the rules either accept or leave the room"
He is politician, he was ruthless in WRC.... |

I never though I would say Max Mosley please come back and sort out this nonsense..
The teams and the FIA act like 12 year old school girls, its hard hard to believe how spineless and self self serving these people are.. |

Is this the first time Todt has uttered something about F1 in about 2 years?

"Jean Todt tells Bernie Ecclestone to stop criticising F1 in public"...
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/119750 Todt is on quite a tear these days! I love this quote from Todt... Quote:

Todt has F1 costs on his radar. I wonder what he is going to actually achieve on that front given the way Bernie has everything setup, then Bernie might like to change things as well.

Minus a large chunk of staff, we would still have the same teams, same calendar, same championships, same well funded teams still spending the most, and the same poorly funded teams spending the least. It should be basically the same as today, but for a lot less money! Problem solved. But wait... It is a competition and I could just maybe see a mid level team saying... "If we maybe just didn't cut the budget as much as the others we could actually improve our position in the championship! Or better yet, let's just spend as much as we are able to get from our sponsors and we might be the best funded team of them all! We could hire the best design staff, best drivers, etc." But what if more than one team thought that way? I wonder what would happen? Richard |
