Woman or Man, if you dont have the speed and/or backing, you wont be racing in high profile series. Especially F1. Imo, no one (slow) should be racing because a team wants to be politically correct.

That's the way we SHOULD be looking at it. There are too may prejudices and biases too credit. We need more women in motorsport simply because it hasn't been explored what women can contribute and bring, and complement the men that are there already. And there are far too many entrenched biases over the genders in motorsport as it is to give credit to any current evaluations. A clean slate approach needs to be made. Motorsport is a bit of a luxury so it relies on independent teams to do this which means it isn't likely to change much.
