Willhire 25 hour 1989
Hi everyone,
I appear to have lost some information on the Willhire races at Snetterton, 1989. I am looking for a complete entry list and a list of officials. If anyone could help I would be most grateful. I should know all of this by heart as I was Clark of the Course, LOL. Barry. |

willhire 25 hr
I'm also looking for any result sheets from the 25 hr Willhire. I'm interested in the Capri that I think was entered and driven by Alex Rogan. Anybody got a copy?

Hi Guy`s,
The Alex Rogan Capri was entered in the 1994 Willhire,in the invitation class. The car was a frontrunner in the Slick 50 road saloon championship of that year.Rogan shared the car with one of our 10/10ths contributors Simon Light and also Tony Brass.This was the last time a Capri appeared in what turned out to be the last 24 hours at Snett.The car was a classified finisher. 1989; No Capri`s in that years race,prior to the 1994 Rogan entry the last time a Capri took part in a Willhire was the Richard Chilton CAS Motorsport 2.8i in the 1987 race,an unfortunate non-finisher after a crash into the Coram armco on the Sunday morning. |

I see Alex's old Capri is up for auction in a few days time...
https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/ford-capri-mark-iii As Nick says it was 1994 when Alex, Tony and me did the Willhire...  We also did the Youngtimer 4hrs at the ring in 1996...
