Answer this! where are they now
Post 2014 Erc was flooded with regular competitors, were are they what they doing so they still have the cars, Jos Kuypers , Pat van Mech, Pavel Koutny,Pailier Sterkens Holte Snoeck Oliver Anne all bloody good drivers looked to be competitive with the best but gone! Also Sverre he disappeared also.

Lol, they didn't fit the IMG profile and they wanted big name,s ex WRC, F1, youngsters and also droivers from lots of different countries so they could then sell tickets and sell a track to the MSA there.
Simple really Back in the day loads of guys came around for a few years and disappeared, Lasse Sallstrom, spent a fortune then went away, Nottveit did, George Tracey, McCkluskey, Lots of guys in Scandinavia bought good cars, drive the a few times and went, Glenn Voie, Harald Sachweh. I often though it was basically, I have a bucket of money from something dodgy I have done, lets spend it quick on something and lose it all for tax purposes then make a loss on selling it later! |

Many drivers opted for smaller or national championships when IMG came and onwards. There are still Swedish and Norwegian drivers doing rounds in Sweden and RallyX with Holte being a regular.
Sverre has retired from racing full time at least. He jumped on the bandwagon for GRC and went pro with Subaru. I will never forget when he and his crew came to Höljes showing off their Subaru clothing as if they were something special. |

Sverre was disappointing in GRC.
Kuypers races NASCAR style cars at Raceway Venray in Holland. Snoeck has done the same but switched back to RX one or two seasons ago. Races SN in Belgium/Holland. |

These guys were the backbone of ERC for years, and simply could not afford to compete with IMG< so most are now lost. Pauwels stills buys and sells and builds cars, but obviously is not a manufacturer so is not really represented in WRX
