Congratulations to championship leader smellysocks, who extends his championship lead to quite a commanding 78 points, joining the winner from Belgium and Italy, wolfhound, on 4 wins.

He was one of the seven entries who predicted as many as 8 of the top 10 finishers (in any position). The other was gert, who takes his second runner-up spot on the bounce.

Analysis

5 of the 7 entries all achieved 7, 9 and 11 points (in varying orders) from their top 3 finisher predictions .

5 top 10 finisher predictions were accurate - smellysocks for Albon in 6th and Hülkenberg in 9th, myself for Norris in 7th and Born Racer Fan for Verstappen in 3rd and for Norris.

Only 3 people predicted winner Vettel on the podium and no-one picked him as the winner.

Despite achieving the same feat last year, unsurprisingly no-one foresaw Magnussen's fastest lap and in spite of their strong run of form in fastest pit stops, Williams were only predicted by 3.

Driver of the Day, Driver of the Grand Prix and Team of the Grand Prix were not predicted correctly by anybody and only one had the Rate the Grand Prix score correct (crmalcolm with a 5).

4 people had Vettel right in 3rd on the grid, but that was it for the qualifying top 3.

Notso Swift picked Albon twice in his top 10 by mistake. There is no precedent for this or rule that covers it, so I have awarded him the score for the most accurate position he predicted him in (4th) and nothing for the prediction for 10th place. An amendment will be made in the rules.
