GT Sports Club 2021

So the new reinvigorated Gt Sports Club Europe has split into 2 series for 2021, the GT2 Europe Series, and the GT Rebellion Series.

GT2 consists of 2x 50 minute, 1 or 2 driver races Am only, open to the new GT2 cars (currently including the Audi, KTM, Porsche, and Lamborghini)

GT Rebellion consists of 1x 3hr race split between 2 Am drivers for GT3 cars old and new

The combined GT Sports Club will sit as a separate event for the most part to GTWC, only joining it for Monza, before a stand-alone event in Hockenheim, then Silverstone & Paul Ricard accompanying British GT and French GT respectively.


2021 GT Sports Club Schedule:

Apr. 15-17 — Monza (w/ GTWC Europe)
May. 14-15 — Hockenheim
Jun. 25-27 — Silverstone 500 (w/ British GT)
Oct. 1-3 — Paul Ricard (w/ FFSA French GT)

I think 15+ cars in each series would be a success for year one of this format. I’m not 100% how interesting the Am only 3hr races will be, but the shorter old format did create some fun racing
