What on earth happened in Saudi Arabia?

Well, after that barmy slice of bonkersness, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix maintained the tension in the predictions contest as well, with the main championship contenders heading into the final round in Abu Dhabi just 4 points apart. Like Hamilton, smellysocks is on a bit of a roll at the moment and has won the last two rounds, so congratulations to him. Who will take the title and win the t-shirt at Yas Marina?

smellysocks's victory has drawn him level with wolfhound on the maximum score of 4 wins this year. Born Racer Fan managed to drop just 1 point in this round, so it is all to play for. Theoretically, anyone down to steve_r could win the championship, but it would take some very unusual results and the people lower down the order predicting those results for it to happen.

In other placings, chunterer surpassed crmalcolm in the championship, while gert, who amassed a hefty 90 points this round, jumped them both for 8th place.

8 out of 11 predicted Hamilton to win.

4 predicted the correct qualfiying order.

The highest anyone put Ocon was BTCC frog in 7th, while nobody guessed Ricciardo would be higher than 9th.

Verstappen was foreseen as the driver of the day by 4, while Hamilton was opted for on the Ten-Tenths poll by 6.

6 went for Mercedes for Team of the Grand Prix too.

4 went for one of the correct Rate the Grand Prix scores of 7. Nobody chose anything different apart from 6.

OK - to take the title, I may as well go for a race result of Mazepin, Latifi & Schumacher in the top 3, wet race and a race rating of 10.
